Design, like life, is a process. I believe that unusual paths, unique experiences, detours and the journey are ​just as important as the destination.

I had the privilege to begin my journey working for Food & Wine Magazine, developing many of the skills required to bring a design from paper to reality; organization, timeliness and attention to detail.

In 2005, I received my Masters degree in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design before returning home where I promptly took a worthwhile detour. Accepting a position as a buyer within a local retail group, I fine-tuned essential customer service and sourcing skills. Much like a buyer, an interior designer needs to understand their clients and what they’re looking for. 

My path eventually led me to an interior product showroom specializing in window treatments, where I spent 8 1/2 years working as an on-staff designer. I was lucky enough to go to work everyday surrounded by a sea of amazing fabrics!

It was during that time I began working on and creating my signature BOXED INTERIOR concept aimed at offering clients a more approachable option to decorating their homes and spaces.

I love what I do. And, I love working with my clients to help them create the beautiful functional spaces they want for their homes.
